Yves Saint Laurent advertising spring summer 2008 with Kate Moss
Today, the Daily Mail UK reports that Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been unveiled as the new face of French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent, just days after being charged with six offences. The Mail on Sunday exclusively reveals she will replace her close friend Kate Moss after signing a contract rumoured to be worth £200,000. It is proof that controversy does no harm to a model’s career; Miss Moss became YSL’s face last year despite earlier being filmed snorting cocaine.
Miss Campbell, 38, could face six months in jail or a £21,000 fine if found guilty of assaulting a police officer during an incident at Heathrow Airport but last night the French design house said it would be standing by her. She has just shot the forthcoming Yves Saint Laurent autumn/winter 2008 campaign.

Celine Children’s Shoe Collection spring summer 2008 Advertising Visual
Launched for this spring summer season, Celine takes a walk down memory lane and relives its beginnings as luxury baby and children’s shoe maker. Although the brand of Celine has grown and evolved, it did in fact debut into the fashion world, pattering tiny feet, as an exclusive luxury baby and children’s shoes brand.
In 1945, Celine Vipiana opened a children’s shoe shop in the Rue de Malte in Paris. It sold made to measure shoes and boots for baby’s and children which was an extraordinary luxury for the period. Its style names were taken from fairy tales and the novelty of the business rapidly brought it huge recognition and success. As the company grew so did the customer demand and Madame Vipiana started to design collections for young Parisian girls which were quickly adopted by their mothers.
Now a luxury brand with a well known style within the portfolio of French luxury giant LVMH, Celine is returning to its first love and launches a shoe collection exclusively dedicated to children this spring summer season. Inspired by the famous Byblos loafers, initially created in 1966, the children shoes are equipped with the original Opanka sole, dear to Celine’s Artistic Director Ivana Omazic, and many of the iconic Byblos details that have been redesigned for the spring summer 2008 collection. The “Couture sportswear” spirit is printed on supple deck shoes, decorated with pompoms with silver metal rings. On the inside, the original inner mark with the historic signature “Celine The Shoemaker for Children” has been reproduced.
In two-tone pink and white leather for girls and bright blue and white for boys, the loafers are presented in two specially designed boxes. With one in red and the other blue, they are marked by the small Celine angel heads sketched by the artist Peynet for Celine’s wrapping paper in 1954 that pictured at that time dance parasols, cupids, satin bows and fine scripted Celine initials. The Celine children’s loafers collection is declined as a limited series and is available at the worldwide Celine boutiques.
